Don’t worry, the Thrive main website will still remain available, we are just changing the background technology used to make the website. All the old content and RSS feed will remain accessible. Though, there’s a few very outdated pages that will be merged together and outdated content removed. Also there’ll be a bit of styling that won’t be ready by the time the new website takes over thus the new website won’t look as pretty immediately, but we’ll update the new website much more frequently once it is live. We’ll be really happy once we no longer need to deal with WordPress.
If you were subscribed to our posts via email then that feature sadly will no longer be available. So if that is you, please switch over to using the RSS feed to stay updated. If there’s enough demand we may make a new mailing list for Thrive.
So there’s nothing any Thrive fan needs to do about this, we are just posting this to make sure everyone knows why our website might be down for a while later this week. The new website will be at the familiar URL, though you’ll be redirected to www.revolutionarygamesstudio.com for a much faster browsing experience through a CDN.
